Dr. Hermann Bahr (1880-1941) was a German physician and psychotherapist, known for his work in the fields of experimental psychiatry and psychoanalysis. He was one of the first physicians to use hypnosis in psychoanalysis and was instrumental in establishing the idea of regression therapy, also known as re-enactment therapy. Bahr's work and method were widely criticised by other psychoanalysts and he died in 1941 under mysterious circumstances, never having been heard from again.
